1987.
Mobil Project was an idea thought up by Renzo De Stefani. The company was founded as a limited partnership.
1990.
It grew significantly and quickly, and just three years later Mobil Project became a limited liability company.
1997.
Some 10 years after its foundation, Mobil Project took its (first) big step and became a joint stock company.
2003.
Mobil Project Lebanon was born: a limited liability company (SARL) based in Beirut, Lebanon. Mobil Project S.p.A. held all of the share capital.
2009.
Mobil Project Lebanon SARL was closed down, but a new company was formed: Qatar Contracting WLL. The company is based in Doha, in Qatar and Mobil Project holds 49% of the share capital. Another branch was opened in Dubai.
2011.
The Mobil Project Al Ain Branch was established with offices in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).
2013.
Permasteelisa S.p.A. became part of Mobil Project S.p.A. (through Permasteelisa Participations SRL), acquiring 20% of its share capital. In the same year, the company’s bookkeeping was entrusted to Ernst & Young.
2017.
An important landmark: 30 years in the business, creating large-scale turnkey projects for hotels, residential complexes and retail spaces.
